About Us
Hope Aglow Foundation
Our story starts with our love for humanity and the desire to leave the world better then we met it.
The mission of the Hope Aglow foundation is to support and empower the vulnerable populations in our community. These include widows, widowers, orphans, survivors of sexual abuse, victims of domestic abuse, victims of female genital mutilation, and homeless individuals.
We aim to care for them through the provision of their basic needs, medical attention, spiritual, and psychological support. We also provide skill acquisition opportunities to give the individuals in our care a potential source of income to help them achieve financial independence.
The Hope Aglow foundation strives for integrity, dedication, and fairness in the pursuit of our mission. We also hope to grow and partner with similar organizations within and outside of Nigeria to further our goals.
Objectives
- To support vulnerable people by providing basic needs.
- To raise awareness on child abuse and sexual abuse in communities.
- To relieve poverty by providing opportunities for skill acquisition to vulnerable populations.
- To provide medical and psychological support for victims of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and female genital mutilation.
- To teach basic self-defense techniques to survivors of rape and domestic violence.
- To assist our young population in advancing education and employment skills development, with particular emphasis on underprivileged children.
- To help create a better and safer environment by the maintenance and improvement of our natural environment.
